The term self-discipline often causes some discomfort and resistance. You get the idea that it will be an unpleasant experience, difficult to attain, requires a lot of effort, or having to stop doing something. Well, it does require effort and the sacrifice is maintaining focus long enough to make it habit.
I recall the discussion my coach had with me about discipline. It was one of the first characteristics he instilled in me. My coach defined discipline as mental focus. Being able to focus all your thoughts on one subject until it becomes your only thought. Read more....

Working for others helped me understand that others dictate everything: they decide how much money you can make, when you can take vacation, what time you eat lunch, what time you have to be at work, when you can leave work, how many sick days you have, how often you can be late or absent before being let go, how many breaks you can take, how long you can be on maternity leave. When you work for others, they dictate everything. Does that sound like freedom? Not to me. Read more....

Up to the time I entered the work force, I was told go to college, get a good education and find a good job. Sound familiar? The only thing wrong about that particular mindset is that it really sucks. My real education didn’t start until after college and it was a hard lesson to learn because up to that point, I hadn’t prepared for it. Now when it comes to working and playing, many of us would much rather play than work. The release of the social media model at LifePassionnetwork.com, allows you to combine the work play dynamic, and enables you to do the work you enjoy so working actually becomes fun.
