Learning to control our thoughts and emotions so we can respond to life and life&#039;s challenges takes discipline as you have stated. Having balance in one&#039;s life makes it easier to follow one&#039;s own passion rather than that of the masses.
 One area in which I think we can use a lesson from animals is this: Animals live in the present moment, always. They do not worry about what happenned yesterday or what someone said to them yesterday. Living in the present is another step towards awareness.
