How To Succeed by Going for “No”

By Keith Cook

It’s true, no one likes hearing or being told no. Or so we’ve been taught. Going for no is a very new and innovative concept. Is no any different from yes? Is failure any different than success? Your actions and intention were focused on a particular result. You did not get the result you wanted. You think about what you did, you make an adjustment, and do it again to get the desired result. It took the same effort to fail or get a result as it did to get the desired result.

The theme throughout this forgiveness series has been identifying and overcoming low self esteem, abuse and much more.

It is my desire to provide you with the benefit of breaking through those walls of hatred, doubt, resentment, distrust, and shame so you can live a life of freedom and security.

Everyone has baggage. Wouldn’t it be nice to attract someone that cares about you enough to help you unpack?

I am always here for you.

If you’ve experienced any type of abuse in your life, remember – that experience doesn’t define you – it’s not who you are.

Am I Good Enough?

We often doubt ourselves and in so doing, create a reality, a self prophecy that comes true.  We say, “I can’t do that,” or “I’m not worthy.”  This, inevitably, may be the result of continuous discouragement from parents, teachers, coaches and conditioned reactions to situations.  I recall being told “you can’t have everything you want”, “rich people don’t go to heaven”, “this is how life is.”  Tim Ferriss, best selling author of The 4 Hour Workweek said “Most people fail not because they lack the skills or aptitude to reach their goal but because they simply don’t believe they can reach it.”

Let MY WORST DAY EVER Be YOUR Guidepost

My Own Internal Dialogue

Everyone knows that the corporate world is a constant battle between those of us in the field and those who work in the accounting and budgeting departments. I’d like to say that this day was like every other day of my career in pharmacy when the “budget” made me laugh, but on this day the budget made me cry.

There are countless people who suffer from low self esteem and feelings of unworthiness. These emotions can be the result of abuse, bullying,or neglect.

Due to the sexual abuse I experienced as a child, I developed low self esteem and feelings of unworthiness. As I got older, I found myself running from female to female in search of love through sex. I was attracting a lot of other females who were in search of the same thing, love through sex. A classic case of the blind leading the blind.

Don’t get me wrong, I love being a pharmacist. I love helping people and solving problems that no one else is willing to solve. BUT, I have been doing the same (very demanding) things for more than 25 years. I’ve been actively studying personal development since I was nine years old, and I am ready to expand my influence and help other “weary travelers” find their way along life’s path.

How To Overcome Depression

By Keith Cook

An event can create doubt, feelings of loneliness, and a lack of self worth. Many of the thoughts we have are self defeating. To no fault of our own, we have been conditioned to assume the worst, imagine something bad will happen, and create fearful thoughts that appear real. It took me a long while to get over my depression and self doubt.
