The Passion Test – Living on Purpose

By Guest Blogger, Mylene Labrie

Have you ever, on a Friday, wondered what you were going to do over the weekend just to realize on Sunday evening that you ended up doing nothing? That your lack of planning or direction ended up wasting precious and valuable time? Of course, you were comfortable, rejoicing in your freedom, but at the end of day, this lost time adds up and you’ll never get it back.

That’s how I felt with my life for many years.

Leap of Faith

By Guest Blogger, Janelle @She Sings Sweetly

We all get to a point in our lives when we need to take a leap of faith. Whether it’s for a relationship, career, health, or major decision of some kind. When we face a circumstance that challenges us to take a leap of faith and we decide to move ahead, we begin with an intention. Typically that intention is attached with good feelings towards a positive outcome.

What is a leap of faith? The basic definition is moving forward towards something, not knowing if it will succeed. You typically act with blind faith that it’s the right move for you at the time, even though there’s a chance it won’t work out with the results you hoped for.

3 Ways to Let Go of Unworthiness

By Keith Cook

“I’ve experienced several different healing methodologies over the years – counseling, self-help seminars, and I’ve read a lot – but none of them will work unless you really want to heal yourself and take action.” Lindsay Wagner

Do you have an unrealistic image of yourself? Have you been told that you will never amount to anything or that you are not worthy? Unworthiness is one of the most debilitating belief systems in effect in the world today. It corrupts, destroys, discourages, and inhibits your goals and lives from unfolding as you desire. You’ve become so disconnected from your feelings, so disillusioned, separated and alone, that you are afraid to take risks, speak up for yourself, or even take steps to follow your dreams because you don’t think you are worthy.

How to Discover Your Strengths and Skills

By Keith Cook

Have you always wanted to do what you love and get paid for it, but you’re just not sure how to discover your strengths and skills? You’re not alone. Many people struggle with this same issue. I remember trying out for chorus as a little boy. There were 3 other students from my class trying out as well. I already knew I couldn’t carry a note from me to you & I just wanted to get out of class. Well of course, I was not chosen to be a part of chorus group. I knew singing was not a skill or strength of mine; however, I still needed to figure out my true strengths.

The Simplest Way to Brand Yourself

By Keith Cook

I can say without hesitation, that over the past 3 years which I’ve been using social media, I have easily met several thousands of coaches. Some have really wowed me with their techniques, skills, and knowledge; others with their benefits of service, structure, process, and awareness, and others with their ability to generate, befriend and build lasting personal and business relationships. And yes, there have been some that didn’t impress me at all. Hence, there really isn’t any defining factor between having the ability to create a booming coaching practice and being a wonderful coach.

My 30 Second Elevator Pitch

By Keith Cook

Try this one on for size. You are a young male or female that’s been infatuated with a particular person of the opposite sex. You’ve been wanting to approach this person of interest for some time now, but you are very nervous and shy and really don’t know what to say. After attending an event, you step into an elevator to go down to your car. The only other person in the elevator is the person of interest and you are at a loss for words.

Is Your Poor Man Mentality Working For You?

By Keith Cook

Did you grow up hearing “go to school, get a good job, work hard and live off your retirement”? Are you currently one of the millions of unemployed workers in the US? Have you sent out hundreds of resumes in hopes that an employer will hire you? When you think about following the old idea of go to school, get a good job and live off your retirement, it doesn’t carry the same weight that it used to. In fact, it never carried much weight because that way of thinking has always been a poor man’s way of thinking.
