Special Message for Those Who are Divorced & Starting to Think About Dating
By Guest Blogger, Cheryl Pollock
If you’re divorced and starting to think about dating or even starting to date this is a special message for you.
If I asked you to tell me your strengths what would you say?
Would you “um” and “arr,” laugh self-consciously and hesitate or would you be able to look me in the eye and tell me what you love about yourself?
Knowing your strengths is a vital foundation to dating. When you value yourself, you’re in the right place for setting expectations for a romantic relationship and you’ve significantly reduced the risk of settling for a partner because they’re available as opposed to being the best fit or you.
Take a few moments today and think about your strengths – your physical strengths, your emotional strengths, your spiritual strengths.
Do this and you’ll start to feel more confident about dating.
