Happy holidays to all!

Many of us are still living on a ‘shoestring’ (small sum of money) spending plan as we move ‘forward’ a day at a time to better tomorrows with the economy.

Many folks are sick and tired, of being sick and tired over the stress of paying bills, not having enough money to do that and still be able to save and have fun … so then it’s time to surrender to some ideas to help ease that stress with debt!
It’s the time to give the gift of savings and inspiration and I’m glad to have my debut eBook in the marketplace to do just that!

My career has been in television and film producing/marketing and as talent, so in between jobs I have had to stretch those dollars and adjust, and now I have mom’s extra expenses with my Daddy gone five years now.

I like to work on whimsical and inspirational projects to help people feel and think better by using humor and empowerment.

My current creative project is my debut eBook entitled:

Life On A Shoestring … In Beverly Hills?”

The eBook for just $7.99 and gift certificates are available at:

www.lifeonashoestringinbeverlyhills.com

The Book Foreword is written by my dear friend of 20 years, Academy Award winner Best Actress, Louise Fletcher (“One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest”, Academy Award Best Picture 1975).

I also mention FREE (the good “F” word) and low cost events/venues in Beverly Hills and other places and gift ideas, recipes etc.. that folks can apply anywhere! I highlight my Beverly Hills civic work through the years and how I enjoy this wonderful city and feel safe as a single gal here these past 26 years. I figure if I can make it here single, folks can make it anywhere! 🙂

I donate copies to the Beverly Hills police/fire and seniors as well as at risk families and military members coming home etc.

The book is my fun true tales about life as a single gal, apartment renter, over 26 years in our fab 5-star city of Beverly Hills, maintaining a healthy and wealthy mindset while stretching the dollars in between gigs, pursuing my dreams and goals working in entertainment.

I also tell folks to have a healthy and wealthy mindset with richness of their soul always to be kind and compassionate to all , as many are adjusting.

I hope it brings levity and light to many, as I showcase the ‘main street’ of our fab-5 star city of Beverly Hills.

As Webster defines shoestring means a small sum of money — it doesn’t mean one is poor and helpless!

On the book’s website where the eBook is for sale, I also write an inspiring weekly feel and think better blog.

Here is a nice article from Beverly Hills patch.com to learn a bit more about my thoughts on the book.

I’m proud to have these two supportive quotes from past Beverly Hills Mayors and dear friends and mentors for me through the years:

“Christine is an inspiring woman—giving the great gift of positive energy to friends, colleagues, and so many others who need a helping hand and a kind heart. Read her story, enter her world, and your life will be enriched. She truly represents the warmth and caring that is at the real center of life in Beverly Hills.” ~ Hon. MeraLee Goldman, Mayor of Beverly Hills 1997-8, 2002-3 — Founder, Amie Karen Cancer Fund for Children

“Knowing Christine, one would never realize she has lived ‘life on a shoestring in Beverly Hills.’ She is a committed community activist, generous with her time, a great friend, and an uplifting person. Her book ‘Life On a Shoestring in Beverly Hills?’ will bring a smile to your face as she with great wit and charm demonstrates that you don’t have to be a millionaire to live in the City of the Stars.” Mark Egerman, Mayor of the City of Beverly Hills, 2001 and 2005.
