What If Success Were Simply A Four Part Process? (Day 5 of 5)
By Guest Blogger, Corey Jahnke
Welcome to the concluding post of this 5 part series!! In the opening post What if success were simply a four part process? (Part 1 of 5) I shared how my life had stalled due to my lack of a future vision and no real plan of what I would do to create and implement an amazing future.
We have since discussed how I changed my mindset, became determined to present myself in a successful way, and the journey we must take to find a unique opportunity.
Opportunities abound!! There are no shortage of ways to succeed!! Even so, most people don’t! Most people are doomed to remain in the same spot today that they were in 5 years ago. Why? Because when it comes time to maximize new opportunities they get confused, overwhelmed, and ultimately do little or nothing to help the world learn about them and the value they have to share. Let’s take care of that for you right here and now!
Ultimately, promoting yourself in a meaningful way comes down to asking and answering the following 5 questions:
How can I possibly afford to advertise effectively?
Advertising means nothing more than sharing. You can share your message in an infinite number of ways. Between the internet, word-of-mouth, and traditional marketing formats you can get your message out. Where most people mess up is in either not knowing WHAT their message is and/or WHO they want to share that message with. My best advice is to take your notebook with you on some sort of getaway and really hone your message and become very clear on who your audience is. Once you answer those to issues, the channel you should use to best address them will become apparent.
How can I reach a ton of people?
It took me a while to realize that this question is invalid. You don’t need to reach “A TON OF PEOPLE”. What you need is to reach and ADD VALUE to the RIGHT people. Once you accept the fact that it is really your core niche that will cycle your growth curve, everything will change for you!! Focus on developing a mastermind group of like-minded individuals and work together on innovative ways to get your specific messages in the hands of the people who can best use them.
What does it mean to have a social media presence?
Very quickly you develop a PERCEIVED PERSONA on the internet. Make sure that the persona you display is in line with the persona you intend to create. The best way to do that is to BE GENUINE in all that you are and all that you do online. Focus incredibly hard on each post you make regardless of the place you make it. Remember your audience will take your presence in a certain way. It is up to you to determine the way.
Can I really write and publish my own book?
Yes! Your thoughts do no one any good while they are still in your head. Someone needs to hear what you have to say. Get it down on paper! I wrote my first book “We Are Not Here On Rehearsal” 30 minutes at a time. There are many different online sources that can help you get published. I use Create Space. Click HERE to see an example of my listing. NOW IMAGINE INSTEAD OF MY BOOK THIS IS YOUR LISTING.
How would I use a website to create value for others?
Ask yourself: ”What are they getting here?” Make sure that when you create a website it adds value to others. Sell yourself and create a connection. Successful marketers use a follow-up system to stay connected with website visitors. i currently use Infusionsoft. Click HERE to learn more about how systems like Infusionsoft really work.
Success is waiting for you, but it requires you to be crystal clear on the value you represent, how you display that value, and who you want to share it with. Once you are clear on the answers to those questions, make a decision to become relentless about launching your message or product and refuse to ever give up. Once you develop and cultivate the habit of persistence and determination anything is possible for you.
I wish you all the luck in the world in your journey!!
Here’s to YOU and YOUR AMAZING FUTURE!!

What an inspiring ending post for this series on success. I agree that the biggest holdup to success is “either not knowing WHAT their message is and/or WHO they want to share that message with”. This takes a lot of thought and getting it crystal clear makes all your other steps to your goal so much easier. I loved these posts and hope to read more posts by Corey Jahnke.
